The monsoon season weaves magic around the hills of Shimla with the verdant valley playing hide and seek amongst the clouds that descend to the earth. This mystical ritual is played over and over again during my daily walks, I feel transported to a different realm, far more ethereal than this earthly plain.

This series of works, inspired by my daily sojourns uses the Indian watercolour wash technique , multiple layers have then been built on each other, each wash leaving just a hint f the previous layer, helping me translate the magic of my walks onto paper.
