Irregular Lattice – the continuum draws from the behaviour of connective tissue proper—its elasticity, porosity, and quiet strength—to create a stitched environment where surface and space dissolve into one another. Fragile materials gather, stretch, and yield, echoing the body’s unseen architectures of support. By foregrounding connective tissue as both subject and metaphor, the work reflects on forms of endurance that operate quietly, without spectacle. It invites the viewer to slow down, to look closely at the systems that support, bind, and absorb stress—biologically and socially. Here, fragility is not opposed to strength but is, in fact, its condition.
